Have you ever done “personality colour tests?”
The first time I did these types of tests, I was blue. Roughly 20 years later, I am still blue. True blue, through and through. I scored almost zero on every other section.
Over two decades ago, as part of a staff workshop, we were given personality tests to determine what “colour” our personalities were. Understanding what ”colour” our personalities are is said to provide us with greater insight into what work we are suited for as well as into the personalities of our co-workers.
I was blue then and I’m still a true blue to the core. One thing I’ve learned is that personalities are fairly consistent and the “personality colours” have actually helped me a lot in understanding others.
There are many traits to each colour, too many to list here. But in summary, one word for each colour follows:
Gold = Organized
Green = Inquiring
Orange = Resourceful
Blue = Authentic
While I can’t find an online test that doesn’t require payment of some sort, this is the best site I could find to test yourself, have fun:

What color would you get if you mixed gold, green, and blue? Probably mud! I am a complex mixture of traits, some coming out more on certain days or in certain situations.
I can’t say I have a favorite color either–all of them have their place in this diverse world.
It’s funny how all these “tests” are devised to help people understand themselves or others better. I never, ever, fit into one category or can answer a question with just one multiple choice answer. For me, “it depends” is my truest response. I don’t think that makes me wishy-washy; I think that makes me enigmatic. At least that sounds so much more positive!
It’s funny you say that because a couple of people scored evenly in almost every colour. Others were more one colour than another but some of us were distinctly one colour as in the architect/engineer who was as Green as I was Blue which reflects his main traits (knowledge and competence) while blue reflects mine (relationships and self-actualization). It’s not really about your favorite colour at all but the answers you give to about 150 questions, rapid-fire without thought, just your first answer and then at the end, the total scored is tallied and you learn what colour your personality is. It’s really quite interesting as there were about 15 of us and we all thought they were quite accurate for one another. I like your “it depends” truest response but these were all simply LIKE/DISLIKE so I found it easy, I know for sure what I don’t like, LOL You are comical, at least that sounds so much more positive. Here’s a thought: Could one not be a combination of all colours or clearly just one personality colour yet enigmatic? I think so… Enigmatic does not equate with wishy-washy at all in my world, rather, what else is there? LOL
I don’t like the multiple choice questions either. I have a lot of it depends on this factor or that factor. I still love to take those test just to see what insight if any I can get out them. I think I just like all things related to peaking into the brain–psychology. Fun stuff. I will have to go and check those test out.
Wonder if it is one of the sites I have already been too.
Yes, multiple choice isn’t fun, well not as much fun as simply Like or Dislike. Takes too long, too, I find because we have to stop and think about it which leads into the depends on this or that. Wish I could share the one I did but I can’t. It’s really a cool one. Me likey lots
