Today the challenge is five foods.
Well, that’s difficult because there isn’t much food I dislike.
And if I start talking about my memories of foods, it would take so long, I could well die in this chair before I finished.
So I asked myself, if I were left with only five foods in the world to live on,
what five foods would I choose?
These are my five:
This means sockeye salmon, it’s my favorite. I will not turn my nose up at steelhead or pink but given only one, it would be red sockeye salmon. Baked, fried, barbecued, over pasta, in sandwiches, smoked or over the campfire, love this stuff.
Unadorned is just fine. Even cold. Nice with milk, not cream and a few raisins or apples chopped in but I’m good with plain old bare-naked oatmeal, too. Breakfast, lunch or dinner of championesses, lol
