How wonderful that these beautiful and poignant lines were inspired by the illustration. ‘Etudes suspended between them’ is just lovely, and very evocative.

Thanks for visiting, Louise, they are pretty words aren’t they? I love musical terminology. While not a musician myself, I find some of the terms so succinct and fitting, it’s nice to employ them from time to time (when I can remember them, that is, lol) Glad you like
