My fifty word contribution (50 words my own challenge) inspired by the above photo from the wonderful weekly _picture it & write ermiliablog
~
Fifty words, fifty minutes, fifty lifetimes. Just when I thought I was ready, I realized I wasn’t. We clung together feverishly, fifty years passing behind our visions. Decades that would never be claimed ours because I, first husband broken, could only feel a wispy memory of how to deeply love.

Beautiful, Aurora! So very touching. I loved the final sentence, especially this part ‘because I… could only feel a wispy memory of how to deeply love.’ Delightful! Thanks for contributing this week to Picture it & write!

Thank you for the inspirational photo, Ermilia, it was great fun
And even a little bit true, lol. My pleasure!

First, I love that you added your own additional challenge, with the fifty words, and then also how literally you took the challenge! The words “wispy memory of how to deeply love” I think tie what you wrote with this prompt perfectly.
I am flattered by your compliments, oh, great writer, you. Thank you kindly for dropping by and dropping this here today.
Wow. I’m kinda humbled by your appreciation. You’re sure welcome! You know, I did a one minute challenge once, and called it Just One Minute, so I really did love seeing you do that. Plus I thought 50-50-50 was pretty clever. And it happens that this week, I also added my own personal challenge in writing my outline before I saw the picture, so I really loved that you added your own too. It felt kinda sisterly.
And I see Ermi was drawn to the same phrase I was… So… yeah! I’m a waxin’… LOL Sorry.
Wax away, it’s most encouraging as we are meant to do, and as the most wise Maya Angelou once stated. No apologies necessary. I love it when you shine, lol
Very effective. When we’re forced to say something in a few words, we sometimes manage to say so much than if we have pages and pages…
Why, thank you so kindly, Ms. Phd Writer, you flatter me so xo
