LOL Oh Erin, I’ve been missing your pages, sorry I am so backlogged on reading but needed that giggle, thank you I believe they are a type of lilac but it is a photo by a friend and I will have to ask to be certain. He tells me he has many different types of lilacs. It does, as Leslee says, look like hyachinths, doesn’t it. Hmmmmm. If I find out, I will let you know
Thanks, M! I bought one! From the second hand store for 25 bucks. Took it for a test drive and fell, it was a wobbly moment but I chose to land on my left hip rather than smash my cell phone. So I am sore but a Free Spirit. So is my bike. Someone really loved this bike. It’s my turn now. Now I need a helmet. lol
Mine had a vine wound around it, it might have been hiding under your tarp, too, for all I know, lol. Too smutty out for a spin today but I may just start shining it up for tomorrow’s sun
Simply sweet. Loving the new look. Purple is the color of royalty and prestige. At least it was about a hundred years ago, when I did a research paper on color.
I, as well, do not recognize the flora variety… that said, first thing that came to mind was lilacs and your lovely short burst of poetry sort of embodied the spirit of lilacs, so well – that’s good enough for me… here today, gone tomorrow – blink and you miss them!!!
I am approving this out of an innate sense of fairness but have no way of knowing if the link is good. I choose not to read this out of my belief that if the intent was not harmful to anyone, we can write any stories we want to, anywhere in the world. Somehow, I feel if I read this, my intent may alter. Wasting keystrokes is something I dislike immensely. Should anyone click this link and find that it harmful, please let me know and I will immediately delete this and the above link.
Thanks for the smile that found my face, when my eyes embrace the beauty of your post’s image and the words that gave it more life!
Delighted, Wendell, thank YOU
Ooh, I can smell it from here!
(Big smiles)
Oh, Janice, I can SMELL those hyacinths! One of my favorites… I think you made my day!
So pleased, Leslee, been missing you and sorry I haven’t swung by lately, I am not just backlogged but waterlogged, lol See your pages soon, xo
Sparse, elegant, quality!
So glad you like, Simon, the depth of your own work makes your compliment greater, thank you!
Nicely thought and wrought. ~Regards, Dan
Glad you like, Dan, like spring itself, it was what burst forth. Thank you for the compliment
Those are gorgeous flowers! Do you have any idea what kind they are? Sorry, the haiku is lovely, too.

Take care. And yes, a helmet is essential.
Am now away to pull my bike out from under its tarp.

I think it a type of lilac originating with Bill Vanderzalm of Fantasy Gardens… somehow if I remember correctly… glad you like!
I see you are in a purple mood… It is one of my favorite colors.
Yes and one of mine as well. I don’t wear it well but I sure do admire it a lot. Nice to see you, Elizabeth, see your uplifting pages soon
